H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has received a delegation of the National Defence College (NDC) at the ministry's premises and underlined the importance of grooming future leaders capable of outlining national policies and strategic decision-making.
Led by the Staff Brigadier Tareq Khalfan Al Zaabi, NDC Deputy Commandant, the delegation affirmed their determination to achieve the college's objective and dedicate their capabilities to protect the nation's gains and achievements.
Sheikh Abdullah praised the programmes developed by the college and its role to foster in students the intellectual breadth, global perspective and critical reflection that is needed to prepare them to identify and assess challenges to national, regional and international security and skillfully manage and employ state resources in the national interest.
He wished continued success for the administrative and teaching staff in achieving the college's mission of preparing national cadres of the highest calibre and conducting strategic and security studies at the national, regional and international levels.
