As part of its continuous pursuit to ensure the quality of the academic performance of educational institutions, the National Defence College received the External Review and Evaluation Team from the Commission for Academic Accreditation of the Ministry of Education, during the period from February 17th to 20th, 2025 at the College's headquarter.
The team's visit witnessed a comprehensive review and an integrated assessment of the compatibility of the College's programs with the standards issued by the Commission in order to renew the institutional license and approve the academic program of the National Defence College.
Over the course of the visit, the team held several meetings with the Academic Administration Team and faculty members. The team also inspected the educational facilities of the College, the halls, the syndicates, the library, and was briefed on the means and techniques used in education.
The team also learned about the plans and strategies developed by the National Defence College to develop the level of academic standards followed, in addition to the mechanisms of application, evaluation and quality of academic programs to ensure their compatibility with the academic accreditation standards of the Ministry of Higher Education of the United Arab Emirates.
The College administration welcomed this visit, which reflects the keenness of the Commission and the Ministry to ensure the quality of education in the country, and the College affirmed its commitment to developing academic performance and improving the quality of education in accordance with national and international standards, and will work to implement all the team's recommendations, which will undoubtedly contribute to enhancing the College's march towards academic excellence.
At the end of the visit, the review team praised the College's efforts to achieve quality standards and its continuous keenness to provide and develop the educational environment to reach a distinguished academic experience for the participants.
