NDC 11th Course visits the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority

The National Defence College organized a field visit for participants of the 11th National Defence course 2023-2024 to the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority on Thursday, April 18th, 2024, as part of the course of making the national security decision.

The visit, headed by Brigadier General Faraj Mubarak Al Shamsi, aims to introduce participants of the 11th National Defence course 2023-2024 to the mission of the authority, understand its organizational structure for crisis management in the UAE, including the national response, and learn about pre-planning for this response.

The visit also aims to inform learners about the national coordination of public and private sector responses to crises and disasters that the country may be exposed to in any case.

The delegation of the National Defence College was received by His Excellency Ali Rashid Al Neyadi, Director General of the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority, where the delegation listened to a briefing about the authority, in addition to an introductory tour of the National Operations Center that includes the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority.
