NDC Celebrates the Conferral of the MA Degrees and the Postgraduate Diplomas for the 8th NDC Course

NDC has organized the annual ceremony at the NDC campus to confer the MA Degrees and Postgraduate Diplomas on the graduates of the 8th Course 2020 – 2021. H.E. Maj. Gen. Staff Salem Saeed Ghafan Aljabri, MoD's Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Support Services attended the event as an honor guest. The commencement ceremony followed the preventive and precautionary measures to ensure the participants' safety against Covid-19. 

Maj. Gen. Staff Aqab Shaheen Alali, Commandant of NDC was present at the ceremony in addition to a number of senior officers and officials.

The ceremony began with verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the commencement address delivered by Dr. Daniel Baltrustis, Dean of NDC, in which he congratulated the graduates and praised the efforts they made during their academic studies at the college.

The Dean praised the cooperation the graduates displayed and their motivation to continue the course to reach the moments of graduation and honoring.

Heba Saif Al Saleh , an NDC graduate , delivered the graduates speech expressing the graduates' appreciation of their learning experience through which they were able to hone their competencies of identifying and assessing national, regional, and international security challenges and their  understanding of the fundamentals and requirements for managing and employing the state's resources to protect their country's national interests.

The degrees and diplomas were issued to the graduates of the 8th NDC Course 2020 – 2021 by the honor guest H.E. Maj. Gen. Salem Saeed Ghafan Aljabri, Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Support Services and the NDC Commandant.

During the event, the honor guest addressed the graduates congratulating them and praising their efforts and diligence in learning to contribute to the advancement of UAE at various levels and to employ national resources to achieve the vision of our wise leadership, the aspirations of our people, and our dear country' goals of sustainable development in various security, economic, and political fields as well as strengthening the teamwork spirit, coordination, and integration among various national institutions to protect national interests .

In a gesture of gratitude and appreciation, the honor guest honored the NDC founding committee members as a recognition of their role and efforts in founding and developing the college to achieve a distinguished national academic status that we see today.
