His Excellency Major General Rashad Mohammed Salem Al Saadi, NDC Commandant, attended the graduation ceremony to issue the master's degrees to the 6th UAE NDC Course graduates 2018-2019 organized by the College on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at the Armed Forces Officers Hotel and Club. The ceremony hosted the UAE NDC faculty, officers, staff, keynote guests, the graduates and their families.
Upon the arrival of the UAE NDC Commandant, the graduation ceremony was commenced by the UAE national anthem, followed by reciting verses of the Holy Quran.
In his graduation message, the UAE NDC Deputy Commandant expressed his pride in the achievements the UAE NDC has reached since its inception, most notably being the top military academic platform for delivering the most important security and strategic disciplines to the highest standards that conform to the best practices supported by the UAE wise leadership. He highlighted the role played by the College since inception in preparing and qualifying military and civilian leaders and raising their ability to identify and assess national, regional, and international security challenges and to understand and employ state resources to protect national interests.
At the closing remarks of his speech, the Deputy Commandant congratulated the graduates of the 6th UAE NDC Course 2018-2019 and their families for their achievement during their academic year.
The Deputy Commandant’s address was followed by a documentary about the college. The NDC Dean addressed the graduates in a speech applauding the excellence and achievements of the 6th UAE NDC Course of successfully accomplishing the UAE NDC Course academic requirements.
The graduates’ speech was delivered by one of the graduates expressing graduates’ pride in the experience they gained upon joining one of the UAE NDC unique academic programs. The graduates’ speech highlighted the challenges of time they experienced during the course to prove their capabilities and to achieve the course requirements in accordance with the plans and objectives. In the closing remarks of the graduation speech, the graduates expressed their appreciation of the efforts of the UAE NDC faculty and staff. The UAE NDC Commandant conferred upon the UAE NDC 6th Course graduates the MA Degrees and honored the UAE NDC faculty and staff in appreciation of their cooperation and efforts to accomplish the college mission with high standards of professionalism. During the event, the 6th issue of the NDC Journal was launched, which included many important research topics and studies. A group photo of the UAE NDC 6th Course graduates closed the graduation ceremony 2018-2019.
During the same day of the graduation ceremony, the UAE NDC hosted the 3rd NDC Annual Alumni Forum. The forum was inaugurated by a speech delivered by the NDC Commandant, Major General Rashad Mohammed Salem Al Saadi, in which he urged all NDC alumni to stay connected with the college to ensure collaboration among all national military and civilian entities. During the event, a short film about the UAE NDC courses and graduates presented followed by a session of free discussion. The 3rd NDC Annual Alumni Forum was closed by a group photo for the UAE NDC alumni.
