NDC Commandant inaugurates the 12th NDC 2024-2025

Staff Brigadier General Pilot / Saeed Hassan Al-Yamahi, Commandant of the National Defence College, in the presence of wing commanders, faculty members and new participants, inaugurated the 12th National Defence Course 2024-2025 on Monday morning, August 26th, 2024.

At the beginning of his speech, the Commandant of the National Defence College congratulated the participants on the start of the new academic year and the opening of the 12th session, welcoming them for joining the National Defence College, and wishing them a distinguished academic year.

In his speech at the opening of the course, Brigadier General Pilot Saeed Hassan Al-Yamahi indicated that the National Defence College since its inception, seeks to develop and empower the capabilities and skills of its participants to understand the foundations and requirements of resource management and protect national interests, and joining this course is a golden opportunity to acquire this qualitative information and skills, as this new knowledge will contribute to linking their national values to contemporary challenges, which will enhance their priorities in maintaining these important strategic interests, in addition to helping them assess variables, and determine the goals and means leading to the achievement of the supreme national goals of the United Arabi Emirates.

He also explained that the National Defence Course will allow its participants to identify the elements and pillars of national security and the strategic tools to achieve them, in addition to its role in developing their capabilities in research and analysis and enhancing their dialogue skills, and the course will contribute through the curriculum it will offer to develop their strategic and security thinking and understand the requirements of decision-making.

At the end of his welcoming speech to the participants of the 12th National Defense Course 2024-2025, the college commandant directed the new participants to the need to fully strive to achieve the desired goal of the course and benefit from what is offered during its academic program, which was selected in accordance with the best practices and international academic standards.
