The National Defence College concluded the Introduction to Strategic and Security Studies course, held during the period December 9th, 2024 to December 13th, 2024 at its headquarters.
The course, which was attended by a number of attachés from the Ministry of Interior, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), the Abu Dhabi School of Government, and the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs, aims to identify the most important leadership competencies at the strategic level as well as understand the approach to developing a national security strategy.
The holding of the National Defence College's Introduction to Strategic and Security Studies course is of particular importance due to the college's contribution to developing and enhancing strategic thinking competencies at the national level through its academic programs and community service courses.
According to its mission, the National Defence College contributes to the preparation and qualification of civilian and military strategic leaders by raising their capabilities to identify and evaluate national, regional and international security challenges, and to understand the foundations and requirements for managing and employing state resources in order to protect national interests.
Staff Brigadier General Saeed Hasan Al-Yamahi, Commandant of the National Defence College, honored in the presence of the Deputy Commander of the College and the wing commanders participating in the course of introduction to strategic and security studies by presenting certificates of gratitude and symbolic gifts, concluding the course with a group photo in front of the college primary premises.
