NDC hosts the delegation of The French Institute for Advanced Studies in National Defence (IHEDN)

The National Defence College hosted a delegation from the French Institute for Advanced Studies in National Defence (IHEDN), headed by Commissioner Nicolas Basolier, where the college's leadership welcomed the head of the delegation and his companions on Thursday, Jun 6th, 2024 at the college's headquarters.

The visit of the delegation of the French Institute for Advanced Studies in National Defence (IHEDN), which was received by Major General Staff Pilot / Salem Saeed bin Harmal Al Shamsi, Commandant of the National Defence College and a number of officers of the College, aims to get to know the National Defence College and the War College closely in addition to exchanging joint views.

The visit ceremony began with a group photo of the visiting delegation in front of the college building, and then the members of the delegation were taken to the hospitality council.

The visit opened its program from the college's theater with a briefing on the National Defence College and its academic curriculum presented by Lieutenant Colonel / Muhammad Al-Muhairbi, in addition to a briefing on the War College presented by a representative of the War College, followed by opening the door for dialogue and interactive discussion with the briefers.

At the end of the visit, the head of the delegation of the French Institute for Advanced Studies in National Defence (IHEDN), Commissioner Nicolas Basolier, signed his speech in the guestbook, after which the two parties exchanged souvenirs at the end of the visit schedule.
