NDC Sports Day Opportunities for Reunion and Competition

Sports is one of the most influential and important factors of enhancing cooperation and team spirit that develops and strengthens the skills of the teams involved in various types of competitions, matches, and sport activities.

 

As part of its academic plan, the UAE NDC conducted an open sports day on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at the Military Sports Education Center in Abu Dhabi. The event was attended by the participants of the fifth NDC Course, faculty members, along with a number of officers, non-commissioned officers, individuals and civilians. The teams competed to win in various sports activities, which included tug-of-war, volleyball, goal-scoring, and other recreational activities. The competition began with welcoming the teams and warm-up exercises. The teams then started to compete with each other, as they were divided into three groups: NDC Course participants, NDC faculty, and NDC staff.

 

Organization of the sports day is one of the objectives that NDC is keen to achieve in order to enhance the teamwork spirit and sportsmanship, and to strengthen relations between NDC participants, faculty and staff. At the end of the day, the sports activity completed with announcing the winners, where the cups and medals were distributed.
