Led by H.E Mohammed Ahmed Al Bowardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, the NDC Supreme Council held a meeting on Monday, October 1, 2018 at the NDC headquarters. The meeting was attended by H. E Lieutenant General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, H.E Dr. Abdulrahman Al Awar, Director General of the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources, H.E Ahmed Al Mazrouei, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E Dr. Mohammed Albaili, Vice Chancellor of the United Arab Emirates University, H.E Brigadier Mohammed Humaid bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Secretary-General of the Office of H.H the Minister of Interior, H.E Saif Mohammed Al-Ariani, Director of Military Affairs at the Supreme National Security Council, H.E Major General Staff Pilot Rashad Mohammed Salim Al Saadi, NDC Commandant, and Naval Staff Brigadier Tareq Khalfan Abdullah Al Zaabi, NDC Deputy Commandant.
The council discussed the most important actions taken on the basis of recommendations and decisions made at its previous meeting. The members of the Council reviewed the NDC strategic plan, proposed action plans, supervisory committees, and implementation mechanisms. The council also examined the activities of the Sixth NDC Course currently held by the College. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Supreme Council issued a set of recommendations that serve the mission and vision of the National Defence College and its strategic objectives.
