Senegalese Chief of Defence Staff visits NDC

Staff Pilot Major General Rashad Mohammad Salem Al-Saadi, NDC Commandant, welcomed the visit made by General Sheikh Gee, Senegalese Chief of Defence Staff and the delegation accompanying him to the UAE National Defence College on Wednesday morning, 10 April 2019.

Within the framework of the military cooperation between the UAE and the Republic of Senegal, the visit aims to explore the National Defence College and its leading role in developing the strategic military thought of its participants and to exchange views and proposals in relation to joint cooperation. The delegation was received by the NDC Commandant, Deputy Commandant, and the NDC wing leaders.

At the beginning of the visit, the delegation listened to a brief about the College presented by Lt. Col. Dr. Salem Rashid Al Zaabi, in which he shed light upon the NDC approved curriculum which applies the best academic and educational standards in the courses held annually by the College for participants selected strictly and carefully on the basis of their personal and professional abilities.

During the visit, the delegation toured the NDC’s premises to recognize the progress of the academic process of the NDC course and to explore the facilities which equipped with all modern educational, technological and research methods.

At the end of the visit, the delegation signed the NDC guest book and the two sides exchanged memorial gifts and took a group photo.
