The 8th NDC Course has conducted virtual visits to Belgium, Japan, the Republic of Serbia, and the Kingdom of the Netherlands during the period from 21 March 2021 to 25 March 2021. The goal of these visits is to benefit from the experience of friendly countries in political, economic, military, and information aspects in relation to national and regional security and how to deal with various potential challenges. Another goal is to inform participants about the importance of these countries and their impact on regional and international stability. Additionally, participants can identify the states' instruments of power and how such instruments can be managed to protect security and national interests.
The annual international visit aims to introduce participants to current and future areas of cooperation with the UAE. The participants through such visits can compare the national security challenges of the UAE with the challenges facing such countries and analyze how to develop and implement the instruments of power in support of national interests.
At the end of the virtual international visit, the participants provided an analytical summary of the visit based on the field studies conducted during the visit, highlighting the strategic lessons learned and critical recommendations for the visit program.
