The National Defence College and  organized, as a part of the curriculum of the National Security Resolution course, a field visit to National Crisis and Disaster Management Authority for the participants of the 9th National Defence Course 2021-2022 on Monday, 04/18/2022.
The visit aimed to inform the participants of the 9th National Defence Course 2021-2022 of the mission of the authority and understand its organizational structure for crisis management in the UAE, including the national response and advanced planning. As well as to learn about the national coordination of public and private sector responses to crises and disasters.
The delegation of the National Defence College was received by H.E. Obaid Rashid Al-Hussan Al Shamsi, Director General of the National Crisis and Disaster Management Authority. The delegation later listened to a briefing about the authority, in addition to an introductory tour of the National Operations Center.
