H.E. Major General Aqab Shaheen Al-Ali, Commandant of the National Defence College, opened the 10th National Defence Course 2022-2023 on Monday, August 29th, 2022. H.E. welcomed the participants and congratulated them on starting their journey at the National Defence College, one of UAE’s leading strategic institutions.
H.E.’s delivered a speech in the presence of the NDC Deputy Commandant, Wing Commanders and Members of Faculty, in which he expressed his full confidence in the participants’ ability to fulfill the responsibility entrusted to them, and their determination to take initiative to pursue and achieve their desired goals and future aspirations through joining to the National Defence College.
H.E. also explained that the National Defence course will contribute to developing their capabilities in research, follow-up, evaluation and analysis of the multi-dimensional strategic environment, in order to employ proper thinking frameworks that to aid in finding suitable solutions to the various current and future challenges that may face them in their different work environments. The National Defence Course curriculum includes study and research programs as well as interactive scientific studies that will undoubtedly prepare and qualify participants to identify and assess national, regional and international security challenges, and understand the foundations and requirements for managing and employing state resources in order to protect the higher interests of their country.
In conclusion, H.E. wished everyone success in their new academic year, and joined the participants in taking a group photo commemorating the start of the 10th National Defence Course 2021-2023.
