H.E. Mohammed Ahmed Al-Bawardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, chaired the meeting of the NDC Higher Council on Monday, June 15, 2020. His Excellency started the meeting addressing the council members through the teleconferencing system expressing his thanks and appreciation to their sincere commitment and efforts to achieve the vision of the wise leadership in supporting the NDC educational process and achieving its goals despite the current precarious circumstances. During the meeting, the council reviewed the outcomes of the previous meeting and what has been achieved so far from its last agenda.
His Excellency Major General Staff Pilot Rashad Mohammed Al Saadi, the NDC Commandant reviewed the council's agenda discussing how the NDC has managed to overcome the challenges as a result of a right planning and flexible readiness to support the education process without compromising the NDC core mission of preparing and qualifying leaders for various circumstances and challenges by applying the best distance learning teaching methodologies.
During the teleconferenced meeting, the council also reviewed the most important decisions concerning the procedures for the NDC license renewal and institutional and academic accreditation as well as the NDC activities and programs planned for the current academic year and the next academic year 2020/2021 for the 8th NDC Course.
The council also discussed the regional and international tours of the 7th and 8th NDC Courses in addition to other topics and decisions presented by the council members for discussion and follow-up. The comments and guidance of H.E the Vice-President of the Council and the council members had contributed to have a fruitful council meeting.
At the end of the meeting, H.E. the Minister of State for Defence Affairs thanked their Excellency the council members wishing them success in serving our dear country under all circumstances.
