H.E. Mohammed Ahmed Albawardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, chaired the meeting of the Supreme Council of the National Defence College on Monday November 8th, 2021 at NDC, in the presence of Their Excellencies the members of the Council.
At the beginning of his speech, H.E. congratulated H.E. Dr. Abdulrahman Alawar, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation, on the wise leadership's valuable trust in him, wishing him success and prosperity. H.E. Laila Obaid Al Suwaidi, a new member of the College Supreme Council, was also greeted by H.E. who wished her success in her membership duties.
H.E. Mohammed Ahmed Albawardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, started his speech by emphasizing the significance of NDC in qualifying national cadres from future leaders. H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, directed to increase the capacity of NDC in terms of quantity and comprehensiveness, to include governmental and semi-governmental institutions by the coming years.
H.E. concluded his speech by thanking members of the Council for their efforts and their role in enriching the work and discussions of the meeting within the scope of their responsibilities and competencies in order to reach the supportive decisions that pushes NDC forward in accordance with everything that serves its vision, mission and goals.
During the meeting, the results of the 9th course were presented, as well as plans for the 10th course. The Council reviewed the most important matters on its agenda and debated the most important topics brought by Council members.
