Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, Mattar Salem Ali Al Dhaheri, attended the graduation of the 7th NDC Course graduation ceremony. The graduation ceremony was held on Wednesday, June17, 2020 following the Covid-19 screening measures.
During the ceremony, Major General Pilot Rashad Mohammed Salem Al Saadi, NDC Commandant, delivered the graduation speech. In his speech, Major General Pilot Rashad Mohammed Salem Al Saadi stated that the graduates of the 7th NDC Course is a reflection and indication on the support of the country’s leadership for its citizens and institutions, as well as its keenness and national commitment to accomplish more achievements to make UAE an exemplary model and a source of inspiration for all ambitious countries.
He also pointed out that UAE is racing against time, led by a pioneering leadership that bolsters the country’s stature, noting that the country has set an example of addressing the severe health crisis affecting the entire world.
"Our leaders are always keen to establish the approach of the country’s institutions based on the principle of serving the nation by our determined youth who are strengthened by hope, faith and ambitions with national interests as a top priority. Our leadership has empowered them to persistently build, grow, and develop to ensure that their ambition match the visions of our leadership," he said.
"I congratulate our nation for having such people and congratulations to the 7th NDC graduates for their significant efforts and persistence," he added.
At the end of the ceremony, Major General Pilot Rashad Mohammed Salem Al Saadi distributed certificates in "Strategic and Security Studies" to the graduates and joined them in the graduation photo. He congratulated them on their success and wished them luck and success.
The event was attended by senior leaders and officers of the UAE Armed Forces and the Ministry of Defense. The graduates expressed their pride in studying at the college to acquire knowledge and expertise and develop concepts of joint national action.
